Business Administration Apprenticeship
Here at Access Dignity Care we have an exciting opportunity for a young ambitious individual to join our administration team! Based from our office in Walton-on-the-Naze, this opportunity will enable to you to earn whilst you learn and is ideal for School leavers and individuals seeking further education.
During your apprenticeship with us, 20% of your paid working time will be dedicated to allowing you to complete your QCF qualification in Business administration which is supported though distance learning and a personal course tutor.
The successful candidate will also be fully supported with extensive in-house training and no office experience is needed. Our highly knowledgeable team have a wealth of business and administration experience, along with a kind and supporting nature. Through your progression with Access Dignity Care you will learn multiple skills such as, structure & process, organisation, daily planning, and project management. This role is so much more than an “Apprentice” role, it is an opportunity to develop and gain experience in, business management, administration, effective call handling, along with gaining an in-depth knowledge of the health & social care sector. What’s more, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to progress their career with us with senior opportunities available in the future.
What will you be doing during you working day?
Answering incoming telephone calls, registering enquiries, and taking messages.
Creating employee files for new recruits.
Processing DBS checks in line with compliance regulations.
Creating service user files for new clients.
Monitoring internal compliance systems and message boards.
Dictation typing.
Stock auditing of PPE and office stationary.
General printing, posting, and filing of important documents.
Supporting the senior management team with any administrative tasks.
What training will you undertake?
In-house/on the job training in, administration, marketing, IT, effective call handling, enquiry management/recording and system processing.
Gain in-depth knowledge of the health & social care sector via our online training portal.
What will your salary & working hours be?
From £6.40 per hour
9am-5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) with 1-hour unpaid lunch.
28 days paid annual leave (pro rata)
Overtime available at additional rate
On-Call duties once qualified and capable
